ABOUT

Colours of Singapura was established in Singapore to continue a wider journey of using art education as a catalyst for opportunity. At the heart of the organisation is a simple belief: talent can exist anywhere, but opportunity does not always reach everyone equally.
Many young people possess the imagination, sensitivity and discipline to become excellent artists, yet may not have access to the guidance, materials or encouragement needed to develop their abilities.
Colours of Singapura seeks to bridge that gap. The organisation identifies promising young artists, creates access to art education, supports their development through mentorship and provides opportunities for them to grow in confidence and skill.
IMPACT

- More than 100 young artists groomed across the wider journey of projects and initiatives.
- Art-education projects and experience spanning Ecuador, parts of Africa, India, the United States including New Mexico, and Southeast Asia.
- Career pathways created for students to become art teachers and take on other roles within the art world.
- A long-term approach centred on talent discovery, sustained education, mentorship and artistic excellence.
